By the age of seven, Eran’s magic was already amazing family and friends in his native New Jersey, and he realized magic was a universal language, crossing age gaps and cultural boundaries. By 18 he was a veteran performer, with stage performances in 30 countries, on TV and radio. He began developing himself as a mentalist, expert at reading people’s body language and non-verbal cues.
Eran’s lifelong fascination with technology gave hacking irresistible appeal, and he became notoriously adept at exploiting vulnerabilities with social engineering, computer skills and technical prowess.
Eran is best known for his stint as director of security at Google Enterprise, 2007–2016. He graduated with honors from the University of California, Irvine, in electrical and computer engineering, earned his MBA from Pepperdine, and went on to implement large cryptographic systems for the U.S. government. He has consulted on security for Microsoft, Disney and Ford, among others.
He was chief information security officer at PricewaterhouseCoopers before his recruitment by Google in 2007. He is a frequent presenter at international security/technology gatherings such as RSA, Black Hat Technical Security Conference, Hacker Halted, Infosec and others.
Eran is chief security officer for Jet.com, acquired by Walmart for $3.3 billion–the most ever paid for a U.S. e–commerce company.
Eran’s first public performance was at age 11, and he has entertained hundreds of thousands of live audience members and millions of TV viewers since. He has appeared on stage in more than 35 countries, and on more than 50 TV shows internationally including CNN, Fox and NBC’s Phenomenon and its audience of more than 8 million live viewers. He has been featured in the Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Wall Street Journal and countless media outlets.
Eran’s performances combine mind–reading tricks with life-threatening stunts like 5–story falls, venomous snakes, evading scorpions with Kim Kardashian and playing nail–gun Russian roulette with Carmen Electra. Famous minds he has manipulated include Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Owen Wilson and Sylvester Stallone.
